Random Comment Thread
So our season is done. Yeah, that sucks. Luckily for us, a new one starts soon! Until then I figured we should have a comment thread, so we can basically talk about whatever we want (but with each other, you know, team bonding and all). So if you want to talk about how the Stars blew it, how Jamie Benn is the greatest thing ever, how Natalie Portman is the hottest girl on the planet, the NHL playoffs (or I guess it would have been easier to just say hockey in general), or your ideas for next season, do it here!

Hopefully we won't have too many games next season that are real late at night.I'd like to meet somewhere once in awhile after we play a game - and get something to eat.
ReplyDeleteMy son Andy took some "team pictures" the other night. We picked out the best shot and I made 5x7 prints to give to each person. They turned out great !
Each print is in an envelope. I'm giving the prints to Greg since I don't know how to get them to each person.
My wife Marty is taking "action" shots of all of us, to give out so you can see yourself on the ice.
I'm looking forward to next season.See you soon,

Actually that might not be a bad idea to get some good action shots from on the ice as well. I'm sure we could take some close ups and action shots of each player and maybe even have someone make trading cards out of them or something similar to the mini FatHead stickers. I'd like to hear opinions on that.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the season I was extremely impressed with watching our team perform perfect passing flow and replace, cut out the middle shooting options on our opponents, and the positive attitude on the bench. I think the team is getting ready to hit that point where "it all clicks" and things get smooth and we win some games and talk about moving to upper bronze. Those games proved we have what it takes if we play like that every time.
Team get togethers-- I think once a month we should pick a Friday night to hit Dave & Busters, go to dinner and a movie, cookout and grab beers, etc.. I'd like to hear some suggestions.
